Sophie practices bodymind therapies since 1999. She is a certified practitioner in Hakomi and Structural Integration. Since 2008 she teaches Hakomi in England and more recently in Switzerland and Spain.

Sophie has a private practice in Lausanne. She cultivates a strong relationship with nature having worked many years as a shepherd in the Swiss mountains,  she practices zen meditation with an ongoing curiosity.

David Schiesher

Psychological Counsellor, Couples Therapist and Hakomi Practitioner

Former student of Sophie’s at the Center for Applied Mindfulness, London

David began his Hakomi training in 2015 in London and was certified as a practitioner in February 2021. Since 2007 he has worked in his private counseling practice in Geneva with individuals and couples. Since 1985 he has worked in various clinical social work settings in the U.S. and internationally.

He is interested in relationships of people to themselves, to others and to their natural environment and how these relationships provide healing and well-being. He sees meditation and mindfulness as ways to connect with oneself, and Hakomi as assisted self-study facilitates these connections.
